About Naomi Wilsey
Naomi Wilsey is an artist and art teacher focusing on nature and the natural world.
Naomi Wilsey, a working artist for over 30 years, paints primarily in watercolors. Her subject matter, influenced by nature, includes traditional landscapes, florals and from-life paintings. She also uses watercolors and inks in the manner of Japanese brush painting known as “sumi-e.” Naomi’s work experience includes graphic design, marketing and art education. Judging art exhibits and teaching workshops are ways she shares her art experience and knowledge. She is a long-time resident of Needham where she paints and teaches art in her home studio. Her award-winning work has been shown in community, gallery and national exhibitions in group and solo exhibits.
